If you are looking for an affordable way to collect artists works you should think about starting an ACEO collection. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. They are also known as ATCs which stands for Artist Trading Card. Traditionally these are usually swapped between artists where as ACEOs are sold. EBay has even recognised the trend in these by creating a category specifically for artists to sell ACEOS.
As suggested by the title an ACEO can be either an original or a print. The only thing that is constant is that they must measure three and  half by two an a half inches. Many artists create ACEOs and for very little money you can build up quite a collection.

Type ACEO in to ebay search and you will be shown hundreds of beautiful, often very detailed, little artworks waiting to join your collection.

Displaying your ACEOs
You can have your ACEOS framed. Either in tiny frames and make a large collection or they can look absolutely stunning if framed in a large frame with an oversized mount. Alternatively a collection of ACEOs can be framed in one frame together with a mount with many apertures. You can also store ACEOs as a collection in folders with special ACEO pockets where you can store many at a time.

How are ACEOs created.
ACEOs can are available in almost every conceivable art form. Watercolours, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Ink, sewing, Pencil, Pen and photography. They are also available as collage, prints and embellished. Almost anything you can think of really. Subjects are as varied as larger art forms. Animals, People, Landscapes, fantasy, abstract.

Why not take a look at eBays ACEO category and start your new collection today.
