A Fantastic Journey into a Mysterious African Past

Like if this guide is helpful

Review by Richard McNeff - London. 'Set in pre-colonial Ghana, New Dawn is a rousing tale of one woman making her appointement with destiny. It is a great read and different to any book I've come across. New Dawn reflects the values and traditions of an African community; it also reflects women's vulnerability and strengths. The book flows very smoothly and is a compulsive page turner. The characters are described beautifully and while there is a fair amount of vividly-evoked violence and sex it is done for a purpose. All in all a very entertaining and interesting book'.
