A Guide to Listing Clothes

Like if this guide is helpful

My top tips for listing any item of clothing is to take lots of photos as Ebay allow you to upload 12 photographs free with the listing, making sure you have one of the garment in full (seems obvious but I have seen many that haven't) front, back sides and some close up ones, highlighting any quirky details like stylish buttons or fabulous fabrics. Use a neutral background, trying not to get any thing else in the photo and I have found that the morning is the best time to take them as the light is brighter and better (if this is possible if not use a flash).
Also make sure you take measurements as this is very helpful as most shop sizes can vary. Chest, waist, length, arm lengths and inside leg measurements are very important and can be a deciding factor to a buyer if they know the item will fit them they are more likely to buy it. I often have had questions from concerned buyers on sizing of various parts of the body even when I think I have covered everything!
I hope these tips help, you are welcome to see my listings for ideas or even to buy.
Happy selling.
