There are sellers who describe their goods do so with a play on words. Examples being night sight binoculars for under a fiver. Well that sounds a real bargain, but they are not what they seem. Magnification is almost zero, and the night sight consists of a built in torch !

Beware of dvd's. One recently described as episodes from the tv series porridge and open all hours. Episodes? Well two to be accurate, one from each. The dvd was a freebie with a newspaper. The  item was clearly marked not for resale

Astronomical telescope for under £40, sounds a bargain but is supplied without its mounting base. These type of telecopes cannot be used hand held, but rather require a sturdy mount.

So do take time reading the lines of description-then read between them.
