Every now and then things do indeed go wrong, it happens right? There are a myriad of different ways to measure how good or bad a comapny is; personally I look to see how well a company deals with me when something doesn't quite go to plan.
I sold a tunrtable on ebay, due to the snowy weather the local post office was unable to take the parcel which I explained to the buyer. So the next day I used Parcel2Go to arrange a collcetion via DHL on 3rd December 2010. Collection time was listed between 9:00am to 5:30pm. Even though the DHL van was seen parked up in the village doing other collections he didn't come for mine. I went back to the Parcel2Go website to report a missed collection, unfortunately the customer service dept closes co-incidently the same time the couriers finish their collections.the online flash 'assistant' tool dissapears as soon as you type in a query and emails were met with an automated response. It took 24 hrs before I was contacted by Parcel2Go, I was informed that collection had been rescheduled forthe 6th December 2010 - over 72 hrs later.
So as I type this, I have had to wait in for a second day and the parcel IS STILL SAT WAITING TO BE COLLECTED, and of course 'customer services' aren't responding. So I'm going to contact my credit card company and put a claim in; why this course of action? Google Parcel2go with a few choice words like variations of 'pooh' and you'll see that getting a refund is more of a chore then trting to get through to customer services, or getting a prcel successfully delivered........................you have been warned!!
