If you are buying this pram because you cant afford a Bugaboo Bee...dont! There is a reason the car seat and footmuff are included. It's to distract from the fact that although it looks good the pushchair is several inches wider and at least a kg heavier than the Bee.
I took it out with the car seat on the chassis. So far, so good. The Framboise is a pretty colour and it looks very stylish. But then you try to go up and down kerbs and the wheels get stuck EVERY TIME. So I tried going on public transport and that was even worse. The brakes were useless at keeping the pram in one place and getting it off the bus was cumbersome - I ended up with very bruised legs from bracing the frame against them.
The folding mechanism is impressive but it isnt a one handed fold as it claims and you would still struggle with a baby and shopping. You cant fold it in rear facing position either which is pretty pointless.
You cant put the hood in the washing machine, as the rods are stitched into the fabric. Not very convenient if junior puts their sticky fingers all over the fabric!
Now I have a Bugaboo Bee and its a dream! Light to push, easy to lift, goes up and down kerbs brilliantly. All I can say about the Streety is...its a dog!
