I've been selling on Ebay for quite a few years now and thought I'd share some of my tips on my to post and make the most profit.
1. Take good quality photographs, from different angles I.e for clothes - front and back, close up of any detail and fastening. Include at least two photo's.
2. Provide a detailed description and as much additional information as possible. As a seller think what would I want to know if I was buying this?
3. Keep your title short and to the point - I.e Ladies Topshop Dress Size 10
4.Offer different options for posting and for bigger items collect in person
5. Start listings at 99p to attract more attention and bids. I've listed items in the past with a higher starting bid for instance £5 which hasn't sold, relisting the item for 99p it  sold for £12.
6.List items on a Sunday afternoon, people are more likely to in the house to look for items and for when the auction ends.
7. Don't overcharge on postage only add what it will actually cost to post.
8. Always leave feedback for the buyer, it encourages a buyer to leave you positive feedback. Having 100% positive feedback in my opinion attracts buyers also.
