I was ripped off buying a "genuine" fender Stratocaster which turned out to be a fake, £370 paid out, overcharged on postage but Paypal claimed I had "Protection" The Protection they offered involved me getting an independant written report at a cost of £50.00, when I faxed them saying I didnt want to lay out any more money on a rip off they resolved my dispute in the sellers favour. 1. Paypal protection is not guaranteed 2. You cannot talk to anyone in Paypal, I spent hours on an automated system trying every option, it is all automated and they hide behind this. 3. I have over 900 transactions on Paypal, the seller had 5, this counts for nothing. 4. The dispute process has taken me 3 months of my life to find out Paypal actually helped the seller to rip me off. 5. Beware buying any guitar on eBay, they are not sold cheap for nothing. 6. Before you register or deal with Paypal again, type in "paypal problems" in google to find thousands of Paypal Victims, better to know the facts before you part with any money.
