While in the process of changing the Registration Plates on three of my Works vehicles (for security reasons) I contacted Cheapestplates for a cost & availability. I was told, no problem, they could get the Plates to me quickly.

An Order was placed & paid for using Paypal. After one week, no Plates had arrived so contacted Cheapestplates via email. Following day I received an email saying Plates had been despatched & was given a Royal Mail Tracking Number. Entered details on the Post Office web site to get the message "Item returned to Sender". Email Cheapestplates to ask if they could look into why the Plates were being returned & when I could expect them to arrive wth me, got no response. Emailed Cheapestplate again several times & telephoned many, many times over several days to find no one answering, only an answerphone....no response to emails & no returned phone calls.

I now have all Documentation from the DVLA to put the new Registrations onto the vehicles but no Number Plates. After many more emails & telephone calls (again leaving messages) received a telephone call from Mark (at last) to say the Post Office will not return the plates to them for between 6 & 8 weeks, he refuses to make any more Plates & will not refund any money. All he will say is once Plates are returned to him, he will forward them on to me again. I informed him I can not wait 6 to 8 weeks as these Plates must be put onto the vehicles now. He was not interested & seemed to think it was MY fault. as the Customer, that the Post Office did not deliver & thinks that because I now have to either buy new Plates from elsewhere or keep all three vehicles off the road for 6 to 8 weeks until the Plates are sent on is in no way his Companies fault.........amazing!

As the title of this Guide says.....AVOID CHEAPESTPLATES AT ALL COSTS.
