If you have your fabric - perhaps like me, found an eBay auction bargain - you'll be looking for your curtains to be made up by someone who doesn't cost an arm and a leg, without compromising on quality. It took some searching - dry cleaners with machines, shops with high overheads, people without specialist curtain making experience - but what I found couldn't have been better. Sandi, a lovely person to deal with, has plenty of experience and a City and Guilds qualification. Her 'Alfresco' make-up service, is not far from Euston station, or she will arrange to visit. My result and the experience has been ideal, so I just had to pass on the tip.
If she doesn't reply to your email immediately - be patient, she might be away with the choir for a day or two.
