Describing your item for sale.

Whatever it is you are selling and whatever condition it is in, DESCRIBE it in full. Most importantly point out the condition with very mark, scratch blemish, however small.  Take advantage of the 12 free pictures and show any marks etc.  For example if selling a pair of shoes, photograph from all angles, try to get the inside of the shoe, photograph the soles and a shot from the back showing the heel. basically show and describe the item as it will be seen by the purchaser when opened.

it is often tempting to do what you can to make something look and sound really good to gain interest, but everyone's opinion of "in good condition" or "beautiful" varies.  It is a pain and can be costly to have an item returned.  A clear honest description will prevent returns and keep your 100% positive feedback.  I always wrap every parcel well and then wrap it in polythene. It may not look pretty, but it won't be returned for being damaged either.

Lets face it once it has been sold we want it gone for good, so accurate description and wrapping will ensure you have covered every angle preventing any reason for disappointment or return. Will result in a nice feedback comment.
