If you plan on collecting diecast models, the most important rule is "Is the model sealed?" Value goes by how old/rare the model is and the condition of packaging for the model. Just because a model looks good doesn't mean its worth alot. It goes by the manufactuer and how many of them are released. Company's such as ETRL have side companys to bring out special edition's such as Supercar Collectibles. These can be based on the original model produced and slightly altered or a different colour such as chrome. These are part of the set and very hard to find. Limited amounts are made which makes the collectors very eager to get one as it top's off the original set.
