Have you ever found the perfect pattern but the size it was written for, was not the size you wanted?
Well, I 
 have done my research and complied a list of standard Blanket sizes, so now with the pattern's tension gauge you will be able to work out actually how many stitches you would need to create the correct sized blanket you require, whether you are Knitting or Crocheting.

Newborn                    24" x 24"       or 30" x 36"        or 36" x 36"
Pushchair / Pram       30" x 40"

Children's Blankets 
Toddler                     30" x 30"
4 - 7 Years               30" x 36" 
7 - 13 Years             36" x 42" 
13 Years Up             48" x 60" 

Lapghan                   36" x 48" 
Afghan                     50" x 70" 

Twin                        66" x 90"
Double                    80" x 90"
Queen                    90" x 100" 
King                       108" x 100"
