These Ei Systems are pretty much the same as the EMachine range really. Add to that equation the Advent,Medion and Packard Bell and you are about close to the list of rather unreliable machines on sale in the high street.
The same fault occurrs with these as it does with the other named computers. The way to repair these ( my way ) economically is to replace the failed system board with a new "industry standard" motherboard on sale. Contrary to what you have been already told, you do not have to throw these computers away and buy a new one! Nor do you have to spend upwards of £200 reapiring it either, and it is quite straightfoward too. A few simple rules on operation, common sense and a board change should take no more than one hour.
Full instructions are provided and telephone help too, during or after the initial chamge-over.
