Fat Quarters - What else can you do with them?

Like if this guide is helpful

A fat quarter is a quarter of a yard of fabric, approximately 18 inches by 22 inches.

These are widely used by quilters to make patchwork, but there are lots of other things they can be used for. Depending on your sewing ability, you can make hats, belts, lamp shades, pin cushions, bags, book ends, book marks, spectacle cases .... the list goes on.

Marmadaisy (marmadaisy dot com) publishes a "fat quarter friday" free tutorial most weeks, which are specially designed to show you clever and quick ways to use up fat quarters and scraps of left over fabric.
