All to often I get frustrated when buying and selling items on e-bay, with the sheer lack of professionalism and communication by some buyers, and some sellers:
So to avoid negative feedback there are some simple rules which I hope bidder/sellers will abibe by when dealing with me:
I generally specify payment by PayPal. This doesn't mean by cheque, or postal order - it means by PayPal.
If I haven't listed the delivery price, then ask me for it BEFORE you bid or win. It's a bit late complaining at the cost of international delivery after you have won, if you didn't ask what the cost was!! If in doubt - ask.
Please don't win and bid on an item then hold off payment until you sell some of your own goods. That is just wrong. If you win, at least have the decency to pay me in a timely manner. If you can't afford it - then don't bid. I shall be specifying payment with 2 days for future items or it will be relisted.
I only charge the actual cost of delivery and the cost of the packaging - I don't aim to make money out of you on the delivery charges.
Please don't leave neutral or negative feedback feedback if you get paid instantly by me. This is my part of the transaction over!!! Too many sellers wait until the buyer has left their feedback before leaving theirs. This is wrong! Once you have been paid for the goods - the rest is up to you!
Please let me know when and how goods will be delivered. It doesn't take much to send a message saying... your goods have been dispatched by xxxx service on the xxxx. I alway aim to despatch my items by Royal Mail Special Delivery. That way you will get them the day after I send them.
Please don't quote for for one service then send by another!
Generally - communicate. Buyers and sellers alike - It's good to talk!!!
