Fixing Paper Jams or Paper Feed Problems

A lot of paper jams are caused by foreign objects that have fallen inside the printer.

Although you may not be able to see it if it is a pencil or something small.

Our top tip is to Turn the Printer Upside Down and shake it about a bit.

If it doesn't come out you will propably see or hear it.

If you think there is something in the printer but can't see it, try printing or feeding a sheet through the printer and see which side jams or has marks on it, chances are that is where the object is.

You may have to take the cover off, some Printer Manufacturers make this really tricky; especially HP who often use a screwless design.
