Just a brief note to give you feedback on how I operate on ebay.
When I require something it is so easy to simply go on line and click on ebay.
I usually buy from sellers with at least 20 positives feedbacks and always check comments past buyers have made.
I set myself a realistic price tag for an item I desire and in some cases click the watching icon to review the bidding details, as the sale continues. It is so easy to get carried away in trying to 'win' an item, which, in reality, is an auction and often items can be bought from the heart rather than using the head.
Once the sale is agreed, I tend to pay immediately, preferrably using Paypal. I always leave feedback once the item has been delivered and ask that the seller can kindly do the same, as a good positive feedback can influence a sale, especially if a reserve price hasn't been matched, so at least the seller knows you are trustworthy.
Finally, it is good fun and if controlled, can be a great way to shop, just be warned it can become addictive, I have spent nearly £2,000 this week on ebay....do we really need all this stuff ??
