How to Identify a Fake Ralph Lauren Crew Neck T Shirt

Poor Replicas

It is easily identifiable to notice a fake Ralph Lauren by the tag.

If it is a crew neck and has the Polo tag in poor quality, has uneven stitching, or stitching that is sticking out, it is definitely a replica.

Another way to tell is by turning the T Shirt inside-out and checking for the quality of the logo stitching.
As you can see, the tag is very poorly stitched on. The logo is terribly sowed on.

High Quality Replicas:

There are many ways to tell. Many companies or individuals on eBay claim they are 'factory seconds'. No, factory seconds do not exist for Ralph Lauren. They would not have a bad product and give them discounted, otherwise everyone would be eBay buying these products. Although eBay have not taken these products down, it is because they cannot identify whether it is fake by the picture, as it just shows a logo and many cover up the full writing that is printed.

The ways to find out are easier if they are actually delivered to you. As an eBay policy, you can get your money back easily if it is fake or return it to the seller if they are a company, as most do a 30 day money-back guarantee.

Everything below this in sections are high quality replicas now that the poor replica is covered, because you can easily tell with that.
You most likely can't tell what is real right now, can you? The white is fake, the blue is real.

Barcodes

You won't have a barcode the same on every replica. It's too obvious if they are exactly the same besides the theme and size letter. This gives it away easily.

Polo Print

The polo print on the white (replica) has a rectangle for the size, the blue one has a square. It's quite easy to notice. The rest will be very similar, but the 'Polo' writing has more of a gap between the letters.

You can also tell by the quality. Notice how the white t shirt has poor quality and some missing parts. The 'A' doesn't have a clear line between the middle and the 'U' has a small gap. The blue t shirt, however, has clear writing without any mistakes.

The Ralph Lauren Logo

The logo is the main thing shown on the T Shirt. This is what can easily giveaway whether it is fake if someone sees it.

You will need to compare very well to identify whether it is perfect or not. Here is the way to tell:

The mallet - The mallet needs to be very rectangular at the end. If it is out of proportion or more circular, it is most likely a replica.

The Horse tail - The tail can easily be seen even if you have poor eyesight. The replica would have more of a bent tail and the real will be thinner and less curved. The replica will also have a thicker one if you cannot identify the other parts of this.

The Horse's back leg (our right): This is also very easily seen. The right back leg should be very straight. On the replica, it is clearly bent. The front one also has a huge bend and is much thicker compared to the real one.

The Horseman's leg - The leg will be easily seen with the foot being the most visible. This is quite hard to see as the logo is black, but there should still be an outline, which is doesn't have.

T Shirt Stitching

Finally, the stitching at the bottom of the T Shirt. You can also tell without turning it inside-out, but it was very hard to see on the blue T Shirt.

Turn your T Shirt inside-out and look at the bottom. There should be 1 thin line of stitching. It should not be wide and have a jagged stitch. This should be very close. You can't miss this, it's very clear to see.

I hope I helped you sum up whether you have picked or bought the correct T Shirt!

I couldn't find any guide online. Well, any good ones. Most are for Polo's, and I mean, we don't all buy Polo's. I don't see why people make repetitive guides.

Anyway, off-topic...

Thank you for reading, I'll gladly help you with any queries as I spot many fakes and have seen many online when shopping or reading many guides online. I'm best with Pandora as I have sold many of these products. I also have some knowledge of Louis Vuitton and some other designers or brands.
