How to Test for Ovulation

Test for Ovulation Using Cyclotest Ovulation Test Kit

Ovulation tests have been designed in order to help women get pregnant by informing them of the best times to conceive.  You do not need to collect a urine sample in order to conduct these tests.  Instead, you can place the ovulation test directly into your urine stream using the hygienic holder.

In order to determine when women are most fertile, the Luteinizing Hormones (LH) are tested.  At the beginning of a woman's menstrual cycle, her body begins to produce a follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).

FSH aides in the formation of a follicle on one of the ovaries, which contains and nurtures the ovum.  When this follicle has fully matured, a surge of LH forces the follicles to burst and release the ovum into the fallopian tube.  This signifies the moment of ovulation.

Detecting this LH surge with an ovulation test allows you to accurately predict the exact moment of ovulation, which in turn can increase your chances of getting pregnant.

The Cyclotest Ovulation Test kit can also be used in conjunction with the Cyclotest Baby Fertility Monitor to further increase your chances of getting pregnant.  To learn more about Cyclotest Baby and Cyclotest Ovulation Tests, please contact RDO Medical.
