How to buy (and sell) unique hand-decorated items

Like if this guide is helpful
It is important to remember when buying anything that is described as hand decorated that it will involve a degree of artistic licence on behalf of the designer, especially if the items are made and then sent out without the buyer having seen the final design first.

Good photographs and descriptions are paramount in giving the customer trust that what they will receive from the seller will match their expectations. Also feedback from previous customers that mention the quality, time taken to receive the item and the overall impression of the service they received will give potential buyers the peace of mind they should have in purchasing from you.

A good idea is to have a short promotional video of your products with genuine feedback comments overlayed on top. This will highlight the customer satisfaction experienced previously as well as showcasing your items for sale>

This is an example of such a video.

Finally, always make sure yo use the best quality available in your materials, wrap any items up in bubble wrap and send in a correctly sized padded envelope with a personalised letter to the buyer.
