A quick video we made..
Of how to make a matcha tea latte.
This latte was made using the Japanese tsuki matcha we supply.
A quick overview of what matcha tea is..
Matcha tea leaves grows in shaded tea plantations in Japan. The tea leaves are then dried and ground by granite stones into a very fine powder. The powder can be used in a variety of different drinks from the tea itself with water, to lattes, juice shots and cooking. The result is a creamy, full bodied green tea. One gram of Matcha is equivalent to 15 cups of green tea such is the levels of antioxidants levels in Matcha.
It's amazing that you can achieve the look of a normal latte but with the a tint of green. Personally I find it gives an earthy pure taste that leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to go.
You don't have to drink match as a little you can drink it mixed in with hot water at the correct temperature.
We made this matcha tea example using a CMA Lisa expresso machine, but if you have your own express machine it will no doubt be suitable. You just need to stir your matcha well first, check the video out for a quick example
