I was just sold an autograph, under the claim of a 'Certificate of authenticity'. I took this at face value, but fortunately I also showed a copy to an expert before paying. The autograph proved to be an exceedingly poor fake. When I checked, it was clear even to my own eye that it was nothing like the original. A certificate of authenticity doesn't mean a thing, so don't pay ANY attention to it.
Ignore the COA!
