Jane Prams, Pushchairs, Buggys, Carrycots & Car Seats

Jane is a Spanish Manufacturer of award winning, cutting-edge design, baby travel systems. It’s actually pronounced Hanay. You can choose which chassis best suits your needs and then add a car-seat for maximum versatility.

There are three types of Jane pushchair chassis;

The three-wheeler – Slalom Pro, Powertrack and Powertrack 360.

This chassis is slightly wider than the four-wheel chassis and feels more substantial. It has pneumatic tyres and quick release wheels.

The four-wheeler – Nomad, Carrera C and Carrera Pro.

This chassis has four wheels and unlike the three-wheeler chassis it umbrella folds. This chassis is lighter and smaller when folded making it ideal for smaller car boots.

The twin – Powertwin 360

This chassis is ideal for twins or if you have two children close in age. It can be used in three ways; with two car seats; with two pushchairs or with one car seat and one pushchair. You will not find a better-designed or easier to use twin pushchair! This chassis is barely longer than a single pushchair, has an extremely easy folding mechanism and is a dream to steer!

There are three types of Jane car seats to choose from, chassis clips are required to attach a car seat to a Jane chassis;

The Rebel Car Seat.

This most closely resembles a standard car seat. It’s suitable from birth to 18 months and is one of the lightest car seats on the market, weighing just 2.4kg. The seat has removable washable covers, one-pull adjustable harness and a rocking action.

The Matrix Car Seat

This is a unique design by Jane. Basically it’s a car seat with a hidden handle at the top. Pull the handle and the seat back gently drops down creating a carrycot. There is a special tummy-band to secure the baby in the carrycot which can be attached to the rear seat of the car. This means that if your baby falls asleep sitting up you do not need to disturb them.

The Auto Carrycot

This is similar to a traditional carrycot. It can be strapped into the rear car seat and is larger than the Matrix Car Seat.

Useful things to know

360 in the chassis name means that the front wheel swivels allowing greater control and easier steering.

Pro in the chassis name means that to lock, or remove a car seat from the chassis requires only one hand.
