MS Outlook to Apple Mail conversion

I've been using Outlook for years and have stored thousands of emails. I've just changed over to an Apple Mac as I was fed up of my PC running so slow but I had to convert all my old emails, here's the best way I found to do it. There are a few programs that do it for you and the consensus opinion is that O2M from Little Machines (free trial) or Messagesave from TechHit (free trial but $25 to buy) work best. Running Vista with Outlook 2003, O2M didn't work (it didn't load properly) so I was glad it was a trial. It might work better with XP. Messagesave was a different matter. It was amazing as it converted all my email folders to mbox format so I could import them straight into Apple Mail. It also saves all your contacts and calendar events from Outlook too (that's even easier to save on your Mac as you just copy them over then double click and it loads them all). My suggestion then is that you spend the $25 like I did and hopefully, like me you will have no regrets.
