If you are like me searching to start hatching brine shrimp eggs, I will give you some advices after I bought the NT Lab brine shrimp hatcher.
The hatcher is quite good to hatch the eggs quickly as it can be stucked on the inside of the fish tank.
The advantages of being stucked there are:
1. The water in the hatcher will be about the same temperature as the water in the fish tank allowings the eggs to hatch quicker
2. The light in the aquarium will help the hatching process
The disadvantages of this hatchers are:
1. It is very small especially if you are planning to feed baby fries which need feeding up to 5 times a day.
2. Water from the fish tank can enter into the hatcher through the opening of the hatcher, which decreases salinity of the hatcher's water. If water is being poured in the fish tank during a water change, remember not to fill the water level above the hatcher's opening.
Personally, I would advise anyone to either make their own hatcher (guides available on youtube) or buy some homemade hatchers which allow more eggs to be hatcher and are usually cheaper.
Thanks for reading and I hope that it would help decide on the type of hatcher which is more appropriate for you.
