Further to earlier posting, I would also like to point out that many sellers 'band' their postal charges, based on experience. eg, jeans £4.50, ladies trainers £3.99, men's trainers £4.99 etc. etc. I would normally double the price for europe and double + £2.00 for small items and £4.00 for large items, to the rest of the world. I do this because to weigh each individual item would take an awful long time and doing mail order for a living, I need to charge for my time, in the same way that people charge for their time, at their jobs. Usually the actual postage comes comfortably within my price bands. Sometimes a pair of jeans may be exceptionally light and therefore cost considerably less than the postage, but sometimes an item can be exceptionally heavy and cost more than I've charged. In the case of the latter I would never dream of asking for more money, I just swallow the defecit. All in all it's the old thing of swings and roundabouts. Hope this helps
