Some months ago I listed a pair of Triumph motorcycle panniers ,obviously complete with straps as I had used them myself. One fairly new Ebayer "bought" them with a bid of thirty odd pounds.I then had two Emails from him denying he had bid on them-perhaps he has one of those computers that bid without human intervention, this was followed by a third Email again denying he had bid on them but saying he would pay for them anyway which he did.By now I was to say the least ,concerned and expected him to say they were faulty or incomplete so as I packed them I took a series of pictures of the panniers AND straps.Sure enough,he received them, sent me an Email saying the straps were incomplete and before I could take any further action left me my only negative feedback.Ironically,I would gladly have refunded his money and re-listed the item but was not given the chance.I appealed against the feedback which was obviously false and malicious but Ebay refused to remove it saying it was an expression of service from an Ebay user-typical of the Ebay management,s biased and unhelpful policy towards sellers.By chance I discovered Billy from Prospect lane Solihull had done something similar to another seller again with an otherwise unblemished record.
