I purchased a computer pocket hard drive in 2005 from a seller trading as Styb00 regrettably had I looked further at his previous feedback and disputes perhaps I would not have purchased from him. But I believe we all make mistakes and I gave him the benefit of my business. More fool me !
Styb00 sent me a case with nothing in it that did not rattle.
I filed a complaint and returned the goods under not as described or faulty.
Sadly it cost me money because he had stopped trading and I couldn't get a full refund ( No Money in the account ) or so I thought.
When I tried to get my money back and paypal responded by saying that they would only refund my money when he sold something or traded again.
Well the account had been closed, so no luck.
A year or so later I was still trying to pursue the complaint, never giving up, I found that negative feedback had got the better and he was now trading again as styb334.
A bitter blow as the refund rules on refunds only appear to apply to the original open and trading account.
Well Styb00 or Styb334 or Steven Owen or whoever you are off 19 Milbank rise, Mill gardens Wrexam LL13 0YU you had my money, and you got the goods back.
Luck man !
I wonder if you sold them to someone else.
Footnote : 2008 Paypal became aware of the seller when I informed them of his manner of trading and his change of name.
They refunded my money in good faith, ~ OK it took 3 years and some hard work on my part but many thanks to paypal for responding to a slightly ? dishonest ? seller.
