Always remember if you don't provide good customer service, there will be no returning customers resulting in less profit.
Providing Good Customer Service

Providing good customer service as a seller on eBay is as important as making a profit. With feedback being so public for other buyers and sellers to see, one negative piece of feedback can really affect your eBay business. A personalised service makes a big difference e.g. updating your buyer on dispatch times and alerting them as soon as possible if there is a delay with delivery of the product which they have purchased. Even thanking your buyer for making a purchase is a good way of getting return custom. Promoting your eBay business via business cards is a free and effective way of advertising your company, so next time you deliver your product to a customer ensure that you have attached a business card with it. If a customer is being difficult, always be polite and fair. Attempt to fix the situation with the customer as soon as possible. Ignoring the customer at this stage will annoy them even more causing them to leave negative feedback which could ruin your reputation as a seller.
