QUICK TIP ON WHAT POSTAGE TO CHARGE FOR FUTURE SALES!!!

A quick tip for those who are not too sure on postage costs, this is only handy for future posting of your small items, not for first time posting....

what i do now is when i post something (i send recorded, its safer that way)

i write on each receipt the item that was sent, ie ladies light weight shirt, pair of jeans, light weight jacket, chunky belt, baby dress, ladies ankle boots etc....

then when im stuck on how much something is going to cost to post in the future i refer back to my receipts...this is handy for those who sell regular items of clothing etc, also check the weight on the receipt and weigh your things inc the packaging if possible, i use my cooking scales...if an item is slightly over the weight you have on a receipt just adding a little extra to the cost should cover it...10p should do it.

I now know that sending a canvas belt  that weighs 0.080kg sent 1st class recorded will cost £1.86

A long bulky coat weighing 0.960kg will cost £3.80. Dont forget to include a small charge for packaging costs.

please get bulky large items weighed at your post office before you state postage or you could lose out or worse still over charge your buyers!

Hope this little bit of advice is helpfull to you, it works for me!
