Rear Safety

In my 13 months of being a parent choosing car seats is one of the difficult jobs, every parent wants the best for the child in order for them to be safe so i have made top tips for you...

rear safety until 4 is best so if you can afford it i wouldn't hesitate one of the seats, read up on internet you will totally see my point!
make sure it actually fits in your car
never use a second hand car seat
read up on reviews especially which, lots of car seats are very poorly made even some well known car seats!
Make sure that the seat fits your car. Buckle crunch, too short belts and insufficient space is not fun to deal with when you have already bought your seat. Also make sure that your car has not got under floor storage compartments if the seat you want has a support leg.
Make sure that the seat fits the child and the child fits the seat. Check weight limits and weigh your child. Check that your child is not too tall for the seat.
Never ever place a car seat where there is an airbag! The airbag shoots out at 300 km/h. You do not want your child caught in the way.
7 out of 10 car seats are fitted incorrectly according to UK statistics, and this is a major reason why children get injured in traffic. We do not want your child to be one of them!
