What to do when you haven't recieved an item you paid for?

This guide will show many people on how to claim their money back or to request a replacement item from the seller. Here's the step-by-step guide on how to do this:

  1. Try viewing the item that hasn't been recieved, and see the estimated delivery time.
  2. If the delivery time has passed, try knocking at your neighbours to see if they had been given the parcel, if their's no sign, contact your local Royal Mail delivery office. To do this Google 'Say No To 0870' and search for 'Royal Mail' and find your local delivery office telephone number.
  3. If your item was sent Recorded, Tracked or Special Delivery, track the item. If the seller hasn't provided the tracking details contact the seller.
  4. If you have tried contacting the delivery courier/company then simply contact the seller and say you have not recieved the item.
Note: Royal Mail do not class a item missing until 15 day's has reached for packages to UK address, if you are abroad it is up to 60 day's.
  5. If the seller responds offering a replacement or refund, choose the item.
  6. If the seller does not respond or you have no choice of refund or replacement then open a case in the 'eBay Resolution Centre'.
  7. You and the seller have 8 days to work things out, if you can't work things out then simply escalate the claim to eBay Customer Support and they will decide.

This guide will hopefully sort out any issues with items not arriving.
