Would I use a slow cooker?

Slow cookers. Pointless, you have a cooker, just use that right? Wrong. I wouldnt be without my slow cooker. A slow cooker seems to me to be an essential in a busy household. Pop the ingredients into to cooker in a morning, and get on with your day and by the evening you have a yummy, healthy dinner ready for the family to enjoy. And if you are slightly late eating, then it will not burn. It is ready when you are.

It is a fantastic way of enjoying yummy dishes mid week but not comprimising because of the demands of a busy life. It also uses less energy than the average oven. They use as much electricity as a lightbulb. Thats it! I have never had a bad dish from the slow cooker. It is very hard to burn things.
They are very versatile too. You can make soup, starters, main course and pudding in them. Bake bread in them, and fudge (who doesnt like fudge) Can make cakes in them and hassleback potatoes.
There is so much and plenty of recipe books to help you on your way. And if you dont want to pay out for recipe books, there are a lot of slow cooking facebook groups that have lots and lots of yummy recipes.
I couldnt live without mine, being a family of four both working full time.
