xenon/xenon look bulbs

Im often asked which bulbs are best and Ive found that everyone is looking for something different.  Sometimes budget leads to a purchase but there are a few questions to ask yourself before buying.  Do you want a completely white light or a legal blue tint? Are they for road legal or off road use only-over 55w?  What look are you wanting- brighter, whiter, 50%, 80% or 90% more light than standard? Do you want to change your sidelights to match?  This should help you narrow the search.

If your looking for some very good bulbs, investing 15.00+, have you checked out all top manufacturers such as Philips, Osram, Bosch or Ring.  Look at different websites such as autoexpress or car/bike mags for the lastest reviews- they really tell it how it is instead of you relying on adverts. But beware, new products are often out of stock very quickly and supplies can take weeks to become available again, so dont take too long about making your choice.

If you dont know what type of  bulb you need, contact the sellers, listings are available so they can confirm what you need. Dont be afraid to ask 'silly' questions - its best to make sure you get what you want.

When you spend some time researching products available, and are willing to spend a bit extra, instead of getting 'good' bulbs you should get that 'wow' factor when you turn them on. When youve made your purchase and cant wait to get them on your car, dont forget to check them out at night on a country road for the true improvement in your visibility.  Plus, look at them from a distance to see how approaching cars will see them - in many cases you buy for the look as much as the visibility!!
