eBay claims buyer and seller should try to resolve the issue. I did just that! Within 2 days of receiving the item, I contacted the seller that the item is not working! Seller "promises" to send the non working part. So you wait, and wait. You send a reminder to the seller, and immediately receive a reply, replacement part has been shipped. So you wait and wait.
Ultimately (due to international shipping involved), the replacement part never arrives! So you obtain a RMA number from the seller and return the item. Track and trace shows item has been delivered to the seller. Now you wait for your refund! Seller does not refund your money! Meantime, seller still continues to "sell" on eBay.
So you open a Resolution case, only to be blocked! "Your 45 days time limit" to open a case has elapsed!
WHAT A FARCE eBay!
What protection do I have now, by trying to resolve the matter with the seller who turns out to be dishonest about his dealings!
One can not even submit a claim by following eBay's advice! Useless service.....
