I intended to purchase an item from the seller "shahidalisyed"
The item was: DSP Super Eye Colour Camera - BRAND NEW IN BOX
the item location was shown as: Hampton, Middlesex, United Kingdom
the item specifics stated: New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging
however the picture suggests the item specifics are misleading
As you can see from the picture the item is NOT unopened
I won the item with a bid of only 99p ( never expected to get it that cheap )
but the postage was rather excessive at £14.99
so as I am in Hampton frequently I asked the seller if I could collect it to save the postage cost
At this point the seller claimed the item was not in fact in Hampton
so the item location was misleading
The seller then informed me that I could collect the item
but that it would cost ME £10 to collect it from the seller
clearly there is no way the seller is going to part with his item for only 99p
unless he makes a profit from excessive postage
or by charging the buyer £10 so they can collect it
Maybe the seller should of put a reserve price or started the bidding from £10
Buy from this seller at your own risk
