When purchasing NEXT tops/t-shirts/fleeces, non baggy jumpers a good tip is to always get the following size up from your childs current age size if you want them to last the whole 6 months or a year. (this especially applie's to the latter) Many (although not all) will come up too small or tight fitting within a few months...usually just as they have grown more better into the jeans/trousers which annoyingly are always slightly too long in leg length/gappy in the waist area at the start. but of course that can always be sorted with rolling them up and belts.
It might not always be that easy if you see a outfit that comes as a set with both pieces in the same size..so if there's a few adorable outfits that you know you want your toddler to make the most out of wearing, it's worth also searching out and hunting down to see if there are any sellers selling the tops of the outfit seperately in the next size up too.
