I spent over an hour last night trying to get Paypal to accept my identity. Most of the responses were mechanised and I was taken on a repeater process without being able to speak to someone and air my complaint. It was simple. My e-mail address was rejected, the two figure address of my home was rejected, my password was rejected, and eventually, after a gruelling attempt to make sense of it I was connected to an Asian operator in India who I could hardly understand. I was promised three clear-up check e-mails (one by the Indian operator) but none arrived. In consequence I lost an "immediate payment" purchase. This is the second time I have been let down  by Paypal, and only tried to make payment through them because it was conditional, through eBay. I cannot even contact them to cancel my membership.
