When placing an order with AIM Tools, it will be bound by the the following terms and conditions:
 
1.Ordering
AIM Tools makes every effort to provide full and accurate information on its listings of all goods offered for sale. The information is the same as that given to us by the manufacturer.

On receipt of payment, AIM Tools will automatically send you a VAT invoice by e-mail.
 
2.Shipping Cost
For most items, the shipping cost is indicated on the listing. However, for some locations, and for certain type of items (such as heavy/bulky items), we reserve the right to request an additional shipping surcharge.
Notably, any orders to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Norway, Malta, Cyprus, Canary Islands and French Overseas Territories, are subject to an additional surcharge.

4.Payment
All of our goods are offered to you on an immediate payment basis. Your payment is due to us before we dispatch your goods and we accept Paypal and most credit/debit cards.
 
5.Delivery
Postage listed in Ebay maybe limited to specific geographic location within UK,Europe etc. For example, we may not able to deliver certain products to remoted areas in UK like Jersey, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland unless extra postage is paid. Countries like Greece, Cyprus, Norway, Iceland etc will also need extra charges . You will be contacted by our customer service team if you need to pay extra postage to deliver the products or refund the order.
Our standard delivery is handled by national carrier and in most cases you will receive your goods within estimated time listed in Ebay.
We will do all that we can to meet the date given for delivery. Please note that unless otherwise stated, delivery estimates are only estimates; they are not guaranteed delivery times and should not be relied upon as such.
 
6.Availability
We aim to keep sufficient stock levels on hand. However, at times of unexpected high demand we may unfortunately run out of particular items. You will be contacted for cancellation and full refund or delay dispatch according to your preference.
 
 
8.Order Change Or Cancellation
We are able to change, cancel and refund your order before processing upon email request only. Notes on order will not be accepted.
However, these requests will not be successful once your order is processed by our team even your order status show as undispatched. You can follow our return process through eBay if you wish to return the goods for full refund. Return postage will be on your account.
 
9. 30 Days Refund
We will refund or offer an exchange within 30 days of your purchase, provided the product is unused and in its original packaging. You must take reasonable care to ensure that the returning products are properly packed, so it will not be damaged in the transit. You will be responsible for the cost of returning. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service when returning the products.
 
10. 12 Month Guarantee
Within 12 month period of placing the order, you may return the item to us for repair or replacement. If upon inspection it is determined the fault is due to misuse or wear and tear, this will not be covered by the guarantee, and you will be liable to repair cost or replacement parts, as well as shipping costs

    cheap and cheerfull

    the build quality is not great but it is very cheap, it would be better if a lot of the plastic parts were metal but you would be paying a lot more for it. Really surprised with the chain i sharpened with this, it worked a treat. the chain was very very sharp and it was very easy to set up the machine to sharpen the chain. I love it and for the price, pretty surprised by the operation and end result. brilliant :)

    Cheap, you get what you pay for!

    With the price point my expectations were pretty low, and this machine certainly lived up to them! Cheap sums it up. If you only do occasional work, with little saw use. Then this machine should meet your requirements as it does sharpen a chain, not perfectly but to a degree that average user would not notice. The chain guide and clamping arrangement is very poor, allowing the chain to ride up slightly and annoying to use. The amount of plastic in the chain securing area also allows a certain degree of angle movement so each grind maybe slightly different. The pawl that locks into the depth gauge on the chain is very thin cheap metal and can bend if the chain is not clamped secure whilst grinding. The process of drawing the chain through the guide is annoying and time consuming compared to ...

    Fab for the money

    What a smashing little bit of kit! The instruction manual is a disaster, so spend ten minutes on Youtube where some dysfunctional little American will show you how to set it up and use it and then get started. It is exactly the same as the more expensive ones - just built cheaper and therefore requiring a little more care on your part. I screwed mine down onto a short bit of thin plank, so that I could then clamp that to the bench when I wanted to use it. By the time I'd done one, and learnt the technique, the next took about 6 or 7 minutes and was sharp as a tack when I'd finished. And to use! Finally a genuinely sharp chain - great chunky slivers of wood coming out - all that bloody dust a thing of the past! Love it. At six Euros a chain to sharpen down at the lawnmower shop, it's ...

    chain sharpener

    Fantastic little product, takes a little time to get a good feel for how much to grind into the chain. My advise would be to just let the grinding stone touch your chain as its easy to take too much off. Bought a much more expensive model to compare results. This one is just as good almost same set up. Make sure you use the right size disc for your chain and with practice this is a fine little product.

    Cheap and effective.

    Great price and it does work - the chainsaw is now is as sharp as it was new. It does take a little thought when putting together, but is pretty logical. I have mounted mine to a block of wood and then clamped it to a bench, making the machine secure but portable. I have no doubt it will save me a few quid in new chains, time in getting the chains sharpened quickly and make using the chainsaw safer. Okay - it is not the highest quality, but in terms of value, it seems to be spot on so far.
