There's a lot of hype about audio cables, certainly good quality is going to behave well and there is a lot of basic cables that are on the market that are not up to the job on a more costly kit of the audiophile. Glorified bell wire that is so often marketed as speaker cable this is not! This is a high quality cable at a very low price and I think would be priced much higher at many electrical retailers and specialist HiFi shops. For it's core size it is very flexible, size wise (4mm) it may not fit in some of the speaker spring clip connections that were common in the 80s, a smaller core size should be chosen.
