this hard drive is simply the best, it has 6gb/s speeds with the sataIII interface, and is downward compatible with sataII 3gb/s. The performance increase i found on my corei5 intelh67 12gb ram machine, was phenomenal, it is simply the best solid state hard drive. intense applications load in seconds in talking like two seconds, the applications i'm using are serious engineering applications like solid works and abaqus, they normally take ages to load, and when they are compiling it takes hours, by using this disk on its own the loaded really really fast, and when i set up the raid zero, even faster, the compiling took half the time it normally does, a real god send when you have to make changes at the last minute. i dont know much about gaming, but if my engineering apps load fast you can be assured its gonna make a big diference guys. my advice is to get two of them, and run them in a raid 0 setup, which i have done. it give an increase in performance way above the normal single drive setup, where your operating system sits on the single 120gb ssd, i tested the single drive method, but the twin raid 0 setup is completely mind blowing. this hard drive is a definate value for money upgrade in my opinion, you could buy a 240gb ssd, but i would definately say that for performance per pound, get the two 120gb disks and go raid 0. there are risks, but the performance is just out of this world. when i bought this drive i compared it with other drives, and i found it was a really good deal, i also got a crucial 128gb drive, and it slightly pegs it in the scores, but this drive still hits with the big boys. --buy it--Read full review
Great product, blistering speed. Would highly recommend to all. It's as if my computer tripled in speed! I love everything about this product and you can not compare this to any speed hard drive. I doubt even scsci can match the read and write speed. Obviously different on buffering. Don't think, just buy one! You will think how you ever coped without an SSD in your machine or laptop
