    Adaptable, easy to use

    This option was my 2nd try of an alterntaive mount for my satnav , the first being a CD-slot mounting, which I concluded was unacceptable for two reasons a) the satnav sat too far below the windscreen, and b) the mount did not hold the satnav sufficiently securely, and so excessive vibration up-and-down resulted whilst driving. The air-vent mount solved both shortcomings, with the additional benefit of there being a choice of which air vent to use to best suit me. If I have any long-term doubt it concerns the robustness of the ball fitting over time, with the strain of separating it from the satnav time after time.

    Well WelGreat kitlwWell worth the money

    Fitted to a 2010 C4 Picasso and it sits nicely on one of the centre vents. It holds my new Garmin sat nav snuggly although it might possibly slide slightly under heavy cornering but hasn't yet. But be warned as someone pointed out in another review make sure you position it right first time because it doesn't want to release easily.

    Great product - after a little adjustment.

    Nice concept. Much better than the alternatives (including the official Garmin mount – which broke). Unfortunately it didn’t quite suit my car (Mk3 Mondeo): The hook was slightly too wide to fit through the vent slats, and the support legs are too short (adjustable legs would have been nice). The first problem was readily solved by squeezing up the ‘U’ hook in a vice. Only about 0.5mm was needed to allow it to fit through the slats. The second problem was solved by fabricating a new pair of legs from a strip of aluminium. As the original plastic legs were simply screwed to the body of the device, it was fairly straightforward to remove these and screw on the replacement. It works fine now.

    Solution!

    Super easy to use. Very adaptable (bought more than one for 2 vehicles. Only problem (readily fixable) was the ball was slightly under-sized so the GPS "drooped" in the a paper shim was added. Am very pleased with the product. Seems to be durable too.

    Great product!

    I had the genuine Garman product, which broke. This replacement is so easy to fix in place and unfix and holds the satnav more firmly. And ......it is cheaper!
