1st thing, add wuality LF HF jumpers, this made a massive difference. Swapped out my 751's yo use sd hone theatre frobts snd plugged for these 752's. Hooked up to vintage gear...JVC AX-55 amp, Thorens TD 160 turntable and Marantz CD 52 SE. At first I thought i' d made a mistake to swap as the 752's sounded too warm and lacking timing and highs. Added my silver core jumpers (unknown brand) and WOW what a difference. Hear more instruments in both CD and Vinyl play. Preferred with grill covers off. Standard 4mm OFC cable used.

Swapping these for standmounts of a similar vintage (Gale 2i) the most distinctive improvements were stereo imaging (huge improvement) and bass extension. Sound good at low volumes and quite capable of handling 12 o'clock on my Marantz PM66SE.

superb value for money, remove the tweeter grills and run bi wire with good cable. lean fast low bass, clear midrange. the tweeters are not the best as they seem bright but its nothing that good system matching wont solve. see what a hundred £ will buy you in richer sounds and it becomes a no brainer. the freedoms have more bass but are less incisive and less fin to live with.
