I needed to strip down, polish and rebuild motorcycle calipers due to the fact my machine had been off the road for over a year, plus over-wintered under a simple motorcycle cover, and sadly the brakes had seized. A decent bike, with two calipers (front/rear) and within each four pistons. I used about 1/8th of the tin to rebuild both calipers, this small amount has saved me buying a 'tub' for nearly a tenner, sure, the tub would have been better value, but to be honest, I will seldom have a use for such a specialised grease, so the small amount is perfect. Viscosity wise it's perfect and is designed for brakes/clutch application where you need long term protection, good adhesion, and safe to use on rubber seals. It's stickier than multipurpose grease or wheel bearing grease, I applied it quite sparingly, as not much is needed, but it will add protection to the areas of the pistons and calipers where just below the seals that 'aluminum white rust' has started to form as this not only protects, but forms a bit of a seal.Read full review

good size tin that wont last for 20 years like some other tins of copper slip etc. and a bit of a space saver as well (I only have a small garage so space saving is a must), great for rubber o-rings and seals and makes them last a while longer, better than using ordinary grease like a lot of people do, nice little tin for bikes but a bigger tin for cars and vans would be needed, it depends on how many brakes you do a week/month as to the tin you would need, all in all a good product and good size tin for me

As a DIY mechanic and motorcycle restorer rubber grease is something that I only use a very small amount of. So to be able to buy a small tin that will probably last me several years rather than paying more for a big tin to sit on the garage shelf for decades is good for me.

It's nigh-on impossible to buy a reasonable amount of red-rubber grease in any of the high street Motor Factors for some strange reason? Unless you're a full time mechanic or brake specialist the standard tub would last numerous life-times. Fear not, you can now get a 20 gram, micro tin that will be ample for years of lubing brake seals and bushings. Well packaged & delivered promptly, wot's not to like. Highly Recommended supplier!
