This is a chance to own a prototype, handbuilt electric guitar. This is a prototype which may or may not go into full production, although at this stage, it's the only one in the world.

As can be seen, design-wise it's shaped and painted to resemble Pac-Man being chased by a ghost, deliberately pixellated to be reminiscent of the original video game and decked out with red chickenhead knobs. The coloured sections are actually fluorescent, so stand out like a sore thumb under UV light! The neck also has a skunk stripe down its length.

As a result of it being a prototype, rather than a full production guitar it's got a few minor imperfections, mainly cosmetic - a few small bumps round the very edges, and the paintwork is excellent but not absolutely 100% perfect. Additionally, although the guitar is technically new, the neck has previously been mounted on another (showpiece) guitar, so in itself is not technically new, but is in fantastic condition. This is not an issue, but needs to be mentioned. Note, however, that as can be seen from the picture, this guitar still looks absolutely awesome, and truly unique.

The pickup is a super-hot, Warman overwound strat-type single coil, which REALLY screams - and additionally, there is a tone profile switch that shifts the filter frequency to kill extra treble via the tone control, whenever desired.

Shipping will be about £25 - it isn't a shape that lends itself to a standard package, although collection is also possible from Northwest London. Note that I won't be able to ship this until after the Christmas holiday, and I've adjusted the shipping time to reflect this. Naturally, if you collect, this can be managed a ;little sooner.

Grab yourself a guitar that stands out from the crowd - both visually and tonally - this instrument could become a legend..! :)
