      Necessary addition for campers who cam off grid

      The remote shunt on this unit allows mounting the meter just about anywhere you can run 4 small wires too. The shunt requires heavy wire to the battery and mounted near the battery makes that easy and then f small leads run to the meter. This unit monitors your battery usage in amps, watts, gives you the current voltage and percentage of battery remaining. Charge voltage is showed when your trailer's converter or tow vehicle is charging the battery. Very good value.

      Would buy again

      Instructions are a little confusing, they need some work. Unit works well, very useful, allows me too know the status of my RV batteries. I know at a glance how much current is going in and out of my batteries also the percentage of charge that remain.

      Good meter with calibration capability

      I got three of these and have installed two. I'm still working on the calibration which appears functional and useful and all done from the front screen. Nice meter and seems to work well.

      From a very experienced electric / electronic tech.

      Did not install it as yet, BUT FROM WHAT THE INSTRUCTIONS READ, , your going to need an AMP METER, to calibrate this meter, it's not plug and play, ( I do have an amp meter plus a lot of other test meters ). But Not Plug an Play

      low cost reasonably easy to install but too much trouble to calibrate this unit as you will need to be a rocket scientist

      too difficult to follow the complicated instructions and it only lasted 15 months
