For the money, this is certainly a fair deal. I have no problems with it and it works fine as described. I do struggle to see how 175 ft of hose would work well, however, as 100 seems more reasonable. I wish that it was easier to pull hose from a distance without it squirming.

Well, the cost is reasonable, I suppose at $50. However, since "you get what you pay for" that's exactly what you get. The product isnt' as sturdy as it looks, and God forbid you try to hook a hose up to it. Instead of using a good connection with the hose screw on, you notice that it is made of cheap plastic which can strip easily with a hose that has a brass fitting connection - and so should that part of the water faucet to reel cart hookup/ it should be made of brass, instead of poly urethane/plastic. It' just crying: ..."leak waiting to happen.". It's functional, but just how long will it endure daily usage of reeling them in, reeling them out. (And vice versa).. I can see it at a cost of $19.95, but doubling it to $50 is more than one can bear to fork out with cheap construction.

For an expandable hose the cart would be perfect but the unit is not suitable for a conventional quality rubber hose. A step pad on the forward lower right of the unit does nothing to alleviate the problem of the cart tilting in the direction of the pull. Once the reel is half filled with hose the unit works fine. If there was some way to add weight to the base of the unit where the wheels are located it would be an improvement of the design.
