This is the first time i have used this product to clean brown stains on fibre glass white hull. the product was easy to use and performed well. mixed with water and painted on hull left for two hours and washed off , good result, i think you have to have strong solution don't put too much water in or it wll be to weak a mix.

This is the cheapest way to buy boat hull cleaner. Be careful of internet advice to mix with wallpaper paste for prolonged action - it set rock hard and was difficult to remove. NOT a fault of the oxalic acid, just paste I mixed too thick! Htis is a good supplier!

Arrived swiftly and very well packaged. Oxalic acid powder was bought to clean oak beams and I was very pleased with the results. Instructions and description on tub very very clear. Carefully used after being deluged, it removed black and aged stains from oak beams. Will buy again when needed.

I recently tried to clean the hull of my boat with a polish buffer I had bought along with the usual cutting compounds ( costs to this point around £60). First thing was the weight of the buffer was quite heavy and wasn't really doing much apart from being rather messy throwing polish compound all over the place. I then searched online for an alternative and Oxalic acid popped up so a quick purchase for around £8 was made. The very first result was brilliant followed the instructions to the letter and applied to a small area as a test, then the rest of the hull. Excellent results,in fact some of the other club members now have the Oxalic acid information because as usual there are some people hard to convince but the outcome soon put them right.

Mixed at about 1 part powder to 5 or 6 parts water by volume and with some wallpaper paste as a thickening agent, this seemed more effective at bleaching the hull white than other ready mixed products sold as hull cleaners previously tried, probably because it could be used at a stronger concentration.
