Brought it to connect a camera inside a horse box to the car. Really surprised at the image quality considering it was so cheap. Also works at a reasonable distance. Transmitter and receiver get very warm. When used for a reversing camera this will not matter as it is only switched on for short periods. However as it is being used to monitor the horse, it will be on constantly. Time will tell if it is suitable for this purpose.

I use this to connect wirelessly to a camera at the back of my caravan when towing, it is just about at the limit of transmission at 20 foot with a little breakup of signal as it's going through two enclosed vehicles which cause the Faraday cage effect when wet, but still operate well under most conditions.

Pros. So much easier to install than cable. No perceptible picture quality degredation when tested (pre-installation) on 'direct' and 'radio' connections. Includes a 12v output socket (red) to supply power directly to the camera. Inexpensive. Well packed arrived in perfect condition and working order. Cons. Instruction booklet enclosed did not mention the product - it listed various cameras (and they were illustrated with direct cable connections). Very occasional reduction in reception quality. But it still deserves 5 stars. My installation is very demanding. It's in a 5m+ Mercedes Viano long wheelbase. The signal has to get from inside the tailgate, pass through 3 rows of seats and find the receiver amongst a forest of cables behind the dashboard display screen. But it's a clear steady picture 99% of the time. Hint. Conventionally the power supply would be taken from the reversing lights but I chose an alternative constant live (ignition-on) so that the rear view image can be viewed in neutral and drive. Useful when the interior rear view is obscured by passengers or loads.Read full review

Because all Transmitter / Receiver pairs are on same channel , it is not possible to use this setup for two cameras because of cross interference. It would be better if there were several frequencies available.
